Validations – Financial Administration Officer Location: Solihull
Salary: Negotiable on experience £11-13.5 + benefits Hours: Flexible
An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Administration Officer to join this friendly, but busy team. Situated within the Finance & Company Secretarial division you will report directly to the Team Leader. Working in a team, your main responsibilities will include:
· Redemptions MTL*Problem reconciliations · Interest*Non-Interest bearing adjustments · General account adjustments, for example incorrect postings etc. · Backdating redemptions*and adjusting accounts · Resolving RBS Anomalies and general queries that arise from these · Failed completion adjustments · BAL*FDS Transfers · Calculating shortfalls after redemption · General queries e.g. refunds*missing payments etc across all books · Updating procedure database for new tasks · Interest calculations on query accounts · Insurance month end reconciliation*balancing. · Updating procedures with any changes*amendments. · Re-working customer loan accounts · Investigating * resolving Customer Servicing problems and questions · Involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system meets business requirements. · Data entry
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the finance*mortgage industry, work to a high standard, be able to meet strict dead lines, and have good logical*analytical skills.
The successful candidate will have very good numerical skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills and keyboard skills. Be a good team player as well as having the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise daily work. Have a good sense of humour, and be a quick learner. Knowledge*experience of AS400*Compass*Excel*Word*Lotus and Lotus Notes systems will be beneficial although training will be provided
